UPS Hiring Nearly 100,000 Workers For Holidays: Here's Where

The world’s largest package-delivery company is going on a hiring spree in the United States. UPS will be hiring up to 95,000 part-time workers for the holiday season to keep up with the annual spike in demand for shipping.

The positions will be “primarily package handlers, drivers and driver-helpers,” according to a UPS news release, and the positions could include opportunities for future employment with the Atlanta-based company.

CEO David Abney and three of the company’s other top managers started as part-time employees, according to the company.

“It was a way to pay my way through college,” Abney, who loaded trucks at night starting in March 1974, said in the release. “At the time, I had no idea then that I’d be leading the company someday but I could tell UPS was a place where a solid work ethic was appreciated and there were great opportunities for advancement.”
