Volunteers Sought For Glendora Trails Day This Weekend

Volunteers will help clean up city trails in Glendora's wilderness areas like Big Dalton Canyon, organizers said.

GLENDORA, CA — The Glendora Trails Council is looking for a few nature lovers to get together Saturday to help clean up the city’s hiking trails as part of Glendora Trails Day.

Volunteers will help clean up the trails in the Big Dalton Wilderness Area, the council said. Saturday’s clean-up day will take place from 8 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

Volunteers will receive a commemorative patch and a free lunch for their time, the council said.

People participating in Glendora Trails Day will gather at the Big Dalton Amphitheater before the clean-up.

The council is asking volunteers to bring work gloves, long pants, sturdy shoes, water, sunscreen, a hat and bug repellent. The organization will provide tools.
