Wind Advisory For San Gabriel Valley: Glendora

Expect gusting winds to continue into Saturday, the National Weather Service said.

GLENDORA, CA— Get ready for that wind to keep gusting. Inland Orange County, the San Gabriel Valley and mountain areas received a Wind Advisory in effect until 1 p.m. Monday, the National Weather Service said.

Strong gusts were expected Friday night into Saturday morning.

"Sustained wind of 35 miles-per-hour can cause driving difficulty for high-profile vehicles," they said. "Drivers should use extra caution."

Residents can expect northeast winds to blow sustained at 20 to 30 miles per hour, gusting from 45 to 50 miles per hour, they said.

"The winds will become more widespread and stronger after sunrise during the morning, and then weaken in the afternoon and evening," NWS spokesperson Alexander Tardy said.

The strongest winds were expected between coastal slopes of the mountains and below passes and canyons.
