Youths Arrested On Suspicion Of Robbery: Glendora Police

Authorities said the youths attempted to get away with a woman's purse in broad daylight.

GLENDORA, CA — Glendora police arrested two 16-year-old boys Sunday accused of stealing a woman's purse.

One boy is from Upland, while the other is from Colton, according to the Glendora Police Department. The two were arrested on suspicion of robbery and sent to juvenile hall.

A woman was in downtown Glendora around 1:15 p.m. when one of the boys grabbed her purse, police said. The boy then ran toward a waiting car driven by the other teenager.

Several good samaritans were able to stop the boys from leaving until police arrived, authorities said.
