101 Freeway Crash Shuts Down 4 Lanes In Hollwyood

ECHO PARK, CA — A crash Sunday on the Hollywood (101) Freeway in the Echo Park area left four lanes temporarily blocked.

It occurred on the southbound 101 just north of Alvarado Street around 7:15 p.m., according to the California Highway Patrol.

The crash shut down the numbers 2, 3, 4 and 5 lanes, the CHP reported. A SigAlert was issued by the CHP at 7:35 p.m.

There was no immediate word on injuries.
