3 Injured In Hollywood (101) Freeway Pile-Up

HOLLYWOOD , CA — A pile-up on the Hollywood (101) Freeway in Hollywood injured three people and shut down several lanes of the free for more than an hour Thursday morning.

The crash involved three-vehicles on the southbound Hollywood (101) Freeway in Hollywood near the Sunset Boulevard exit. It happened at about 2:35 a.m. and prompted the closure of the Nos. 1, 2 and 3 lanes for 90 minutes, according to the California Highway Patrol. Only the No. 4 lane open to traffic, according to the California Highway Patrol.

NBC4 reported three people were injured and taken to a hospital, but the CHP could not immediately confirm if anyone was hurt.

All lanes of the freeway were reopened at about 4:10 a.m.
