Elbow Room
1634 Cahuenga Blvd., Hollywood

Since it opened in 2018, this Central Hollywood spot has attracted a following by delivering on a promise — "We took the East Coast-style ‘local’ and put a twist on it," their website proudly states. Respectable New York-style pies are served up in this tightly-packed barroom that takes its mission as a neighborhood sports bar so seriously it opens at 10 a.m. on Sundays for football. It's sure to attract regulars, tourists and fair-weather fans alike for the big game — so make sure you get there early.

33 Taps
3725 Sunset Blvd., Silver Lake

Like the name suggests, this Sunset Junction hotspot offers everything a good sports bar should, including 30 beers on tap — from craft brews to good ol' Bud Light — along with plenty of big-screen TVs to soak in the game. But this colorful watering hole spins the typical formula into a decidedly Silver Lake experience, with a menu that includes pub-grub standbys like buffalo wings in both meaty and vegan form.

Barney's Beanery
West Hollywood, Burbank, Santa Monica, Westwood and Pasadena

A WeHo staple for over 100 years, Barney's Beanery has never been one to chase the revolving door of tends that come and go from LA as quickly as actors looking to make it big. The menu is unfussy — with classics like chili, burgers and pizza — and the roadhouse decor harkens back to the restaurant's days as a Route 66 icon, though now with plenty of TVs mixed in with the kitsch. That steady, authentic charm could be the very reason why Barney's Beanery has has become a place to see and be seen among Gen Z transplants.

Ye Rustic Inn
1831 Hillhurst Ave., Los Feliz

With overstuffed red booths, dim lighting and generous pours, this neighborhood joint is a bona fide dive with a major bonus — legitimately good food. The owners claim they've got the best wings in LA, a boastful claim that many of the bar's regulars will enthusiastically back up.

3rd Base
1562 N. Cahuenga Blvd., Hollywood

While its wraparound bar and massive TVs make this Hollywood spot a true sports destination, trendy design and an elevated menu offer something different from the usual sports-bar experience. Mozzarella sticks are upgraded in favor of cheese triangles — a mix of cheddar, smoked gouda and parmesan — while velour booths and mood lighting offer cozy spots to camp out for the game.
