Fire Breaks Out In Hollywood Apartment Building: LAFD

There was a fire in a three-story apartment building in Hollywood Wednesday night, the LAFD said.

HOLLYWOOD, CA — It took 32 firefighters 18 minutes to extinguish a fire that broke out in a Hollywood apartment building Wednesday night, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.

Firefighters responded before 11 p.m. to 1611 Schrader Blvd., east of Hollywood and Highland, for a report of a three-story building with fire on the second floor, the LAFD said.

Firefighters found fire in one unit on the second floor and "established a hose line to advance toward the fire," the LAFD said.

There were no injuries reported and the cause of the fire is under investigation.
