Fire Breaks Out At Hollywood Home Thursday Morning: LAFD

A fire broke out in a home in Hollywood Thursday morning, according to the LAFD.

HOLLYWOOD, CA — It took 30 firefighters 18 minutes to extinguish a fire that broke out at a home in Hollywood Thursday morning, according to the LAFD.

Firefighters responded to a one-story home at St. Andrews Place and Santa Monica Boulevard at around 9:30 a.m., where they found smoke showing from the outside, the LAFD said.

"Firefighters deployed hose lines toward the fire inside, and ascended ladders to the roof for vertical ventilation of the structure," the LAFD's Nicholas Prange said.

No one was injured in the fire. The cause of the blaze is under investigation.
