Fire Extinguished At Hollywood Apartment Complex

HOLLYWOOD, CA — Firefighters quickly knocked down a fire at a two-story apartment building Saturday in Hollywood.

Fire crews responded to 1765 N. Vista Del Mar Ave. near Yucca Street, south of the Hollywood (101) Freeway, at 1:48 a.m. where they encountered the fully-engulfed vacant building, said Los Angeles Fire Department spokesman Brian Humphrey.

It took 32 firefighters 19 minutes to put out the flames.
