Firefighters Knock Down Blaze At Vacant Hollywood Hotel

Firefighters knocked down a major emergency fire at a vacant two-story hotel in Hollywood.

HOLLYWOOD, CA — Firefighters knocked down a major emergency fire at a vacant two-story hotel in Hollywood Sunday.

The Los Angeles Fire Department sent 127 firefighters to 1624 Schrader Ave. after the blaze was reported at 3:15 a.m., LAFD spokesman Brian Humphrey said. They had the blaze out at 4:53 a.m.

Fire damaged the sub-floor/basement, both above-ground floors and the attic of the vacant structure, Humphrey added.
