Hollywood Hills Water Main Break Floods 101 Freeway

The deluge of water from an early morning water main break forced the closure of an off-ramp from the northbound Hollywood (101) Freeway.

HOLLYWOOD, CA — A water main break in the Hollywood Hills area Thursday resulted in some flooding and prompted closure of an off-ramp from the northbound Hollywood (101) Freeway.

The 3 a.m. break affected the North Highland Avenue off-ramp, according to the California Highway Patrol and reports from the scene.

The closure was continuing after daybreak, as crews worked to repair the water main.
