HOLLYWOOD, CA — Hollywood Partnership has named Davon Barbour as vice president of advocacy and economic development. Barbour will lead research and development efforts for Hollywood Partnership as part of the organization's goal to better serve the local market.

Barbour previously directed the Community & Economic Development Division for Los Angeles County Development Authority, which administrated over $100 million in coronavirus relief programs. He has also served as Vice Chairman of the Baltimore City Planning Commission among other leadership roles.

"I’m excited to get back into economic development at a neighborhood scale,” Barbour said. "It provides the opportunity to focus on a finite area and make a tangible difference. Though Hollywood has a global brand, we’re going to focus on what we can do to expand its appeal to Angelenos."
