Injured Hiker Airlifted Out Of Remote Lake Hollywood Area: LAFD

HOLLYWOOD, CA — An injured hiker was airlifted out of Lake Hollywood Park Thursday afternoon, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.

Firefighters responded to a remote area of the park following a report of an approximately 25-year-old woman with an injured leg Thursday at around 1 p.m., according to the LAFD.

Rescuers prepped the woman on the ground and she was set to be hoisted up into a helicopter and transported by air to a local hospital, the LAFD said.
