"Top Gun: Maverick" — Tom Cruise, Jennifer Connelly, Miles Teller; directed by Joseph Kosinski

Nearly 36 years after Tom Cruise took our breath away in 1986's "Top Gun," the megastar returns to his iconic role as Pete "Maverick" Mitchell. This time around, Maverick becomes an instructor in the Navy's "Top Gun" program, and one of his students is Bradley Bradshaw (Miles Teller), son of Maverick's late fighting partner, Goose. Seemingly, Bradshaw feels the need — for speed? No, to prove himself.

"Jurassic World Dominion" — Chris Pratt, Bryce Dallas Howard; directed by Colin Trevorrow

Nearly 30 years since Steven Spielberg adapted Michael Crichton's bestseller, the "Jurassic Park" film saga ends with the release of its fifth and final installment, "Jurassic World Dominion."

Set in a world where dinosaurs and humans co-exist freely, the new film, which is a direct sequel to 2018's "Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom," reunites original stars Sam Neill, Laura Dern and Jeff Goldblum for the first time since 2001's "Jurassic Park III." "Jurassic World" stars Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard who return to reprise their roles of Owen Brady and Claire Dearing.

“Lightyear” — Chris Evans, Keke Palmer, Dale Soules; directed by Angus MacLane

An origin story for Buzz Lightyear (voiced by Evans), the Pixar animated sci-fi spin-off follows the plastic square-jawed “Toy Story” hero as he attempts to get back to Earth after being stranded on an intergalactic planet.

“Cha Cha Real Smooth” — Cooper Raiff, Dakota Johnson; directed by Cooper Raiff

After his SXSW-winning “Shithouse,” Cooper Raiff’s sophomore feature, “Cha Cha Real Smooth,” tells the story of a young college grad (Raiff) in search of his rightful place in the world. While working as a Bar Mitzvah party host, he strikes up an unlikely friendship with a young mother (Dakota Johnson) and her autistic teen daughter (Vanessa Bughardt). This Sundance Audience Award winner is sure to win you over.

“Elvis” — Austin Butler, Tom Hanks, Olivia DeJonge; directed by Baz Luhrmann

Simply put: The biopic is the life story of the legendary Elvis Presley, the King of Rock ‘n’ Roll.

“Spiderhead” — Chris Hemsworth, Miles Teller; directed by Joseph Kosinski

Based on George Saunders’ prolific short story, “Escape From Spiderhead,” Joseph Kosinski’s new crime drama centers around a research facility which enlists the help of convicts to test a drug that can generate feelings of love. In exchange, the prisoners turned medical subjects' sentences are commuted. In the movie, Chris Hemsworth plays a research doctor, while Miles Teller plays a medical subject who begins questioning the reality of his emotions.

"Thor: Love and Thunder" — Chris Hemsworth, Natalie Portman, Tessa Thompson; directed by Taika Waititi

The Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) comes roaring back with a sequel to 2017's "Thor: Ragnarok." This time around, Jane Foster (Natalie Portman) takes on the mantle and powers of Thor the God of Thunder (Chris Hemsworth). Valkyrie (Tessa Thompson), Gorr the God Butcher (Christian Bale) and members of the Guardians of the Galaxy — Star-Lord (Chris Pratt), Drax (Dave Bautista), Nebula (Karen Gillan), Rocket (Bradley Cooper) and Groot (Vin Diesel) — are also in for the cosmic ride.

“The Gray Man” — Ryan Gosling, Ana de Armas, Chris Evans; directed by Anthony Russo and Joe Russo

What if you were CIA’s top operative who inadvertently uncovered the dark agency’s secrets, and suddenly you had to run for your life? This is the premise of “The Gray Man,” in which Ryan Gosling plays the hired freelance assassin who must now face the wrath of his former CIA colleague (Chris Evans) in a seemingly never-ending cat-and-mouse game.
