Nordstrom Plans Hiring Spree For Jobs Near Hollywood

The department store is offering benefits, employer-matched retirement plans and employee discounts to fill thousands of positions.

LOS ANGELES, CA — Nordstrom Inc. is looking to fill thousands of positions across California, the company announced Wednesday.

The retailer is hiring year-round and seasonal positions at Nordstrom and Nordstrom rack stores and supply chain facilities. The positions include medical benefits, an employer-matched retirement plan and an employee discount.

Near the Hollywood area, there are Nordstrom's locations at 8401 Melrose Place, The Grove at 189 The Grove Drive, and at Beverly Connection at 100 N La Cienega Boulevard. There are also two in Santa Monica at 220 Broadway and at 214 26th St. as well as locations in Century City at Westfield Century City, and at Nordstrom headquarters in Culver City at 8680 Hayden Place.

"Nordstrom offers competitive pay, a merchandise discount of 20% and benefits such as medical coverage, employer-matched retirement plan and much more," according to a company statement. "`Additionally, supply chain facility roles are eligible for a sign-on bonus."

Nordstrom's hiring days will begin Friday and continue through June 18. Open positions include sales, fulfillment and logistics, restaurant and support roles. Of the open positions, 48% are sales roles at Nordstrom and Nordstrom Rack stores, according to the company.
