Pedestrian Fatally Struck While Walking On 101 Freeway: CHP

A pedestrian was fatally struck by a vehicle while walking in the far-left lane of the Hollywood Freeway, according to the CHP.

HOLLYWOOD, CA — A pedestrian who was walking on the 101 Freeway was struck and killed by a vehicle early Wednesday morning, according to the California Highway Patrol.

The crash was reported at 12:39 a.m. The pedestrian was struck by a vehicle while walking in the far left lane near Wilton Place on the northbound side of the freeway, according to the CHP.

All northbound lanes were shut down during the investigation, according to the CHP.
