Small Quake Rattles Los Angeles Region. Did You Feel It?

LOS ANGELES, CA — An earthquake with a magnitude of 2.6 struck the Silver Lake area Monday morning, the U.S. Geological Survey reported.

The quake struck at 8:57 a.m. Monday. Its epicenter was near the border of Silver Lake and Echo Park around Glendale Boulevard.

It was about 6.77 miles deep, according to the USGS.

People as far away as Inglewood and the Sepulveda Pass reported feeling the quake.

There have been no reports of injuries or damages.
