Vacant Hollywood Building Catches Fire For 2nd Time: LAFD

A vacant building in central Hollywood caught fire Wednesday night, which came after a previous fire at the multifamily structure.

HOLLYWOOD, CA — A vacant multifamily building in Hollywood, which had previously been the site of a blaze, caught fire Wednesday night, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.

Firefighters responded to the two-story building at 6842 W. Sunset Blvd., just west of Highland Avenue, at around 9:50 p.m., according to the LAFD.

The first 24 firefighters extinguished the flames 11 minutes from the time the first 911 call was placed.

No injuries were reported and the case of the fire is under investigation.
