HOLLYWOOD, CA — Summer is sizzling with excitement in Netflix land, thanks to a treasure trove of highly anticipated original offerings, priceless classics and captivating indie films.

Looking to kick off July with an action-packed comedy? “Beverly Hills Cop: Axel F” — the fourth installment in the “Beverly Hills Cop” movie franchise — arrives on July 3 with Eddie Murphy reprising his iconic role of Detroit PD detective Axel Foley. This time around, his daughter’s life is threatened, prompting our hero to return to zip 90210, thirty years after his first visit.

Dreaming of a perfect summer getaway? Let Harry Connick Jr. serenade you as a rock star in “Find Me Falling,” a romantic comedy set in the picturesque island of Cyprus, where summertime beckons with endless blue horizon and crystal-clear waters.

The streaming extravaganza doesn’t end there, as Netflix is also set to unveil other much-awaited originals, including “Simone Biles Rising,” a two-episode docu-series about the gymnast’s critical Olympics’ prep work — and “The Decameron,” a black comedy series about a medieval society beset by the bubonic plague.
