Lyme disease warrior creates CBD Company to help others

I have suffered from Lyme disease for over 20 years now. After years of suffering, I went to the doctor when I was 18 years old and finally received a diagnosis – it was Lyme disease. Lyme disease is a bacterial infection you get from the bite of an infected tick. At first, Lyme disease usually causes symptoms such as rash, fever, headache, and fatigue. But if it is not treated early, the infection can spread to your joints, heart, and nervous system.

After initial antibiotic treatment, my symptoms persisted. I was then misdiagnosed with fibromyalgia and prescribed pharmaceutical drugs. Diagnosed with Lyme once again by a specialist, I was only given more pharmaceuticals. After rounds of antibiotics and enduring their never-ending list of side effects, I decided to stop using them all together.

In 2016, I visited a friend in California and came across cannabidiol—generally referred to as CBD. Desperate to alleviate my pain, I decided to try it out. The first time I tried CBD, I instantly felt relief. My muscle and joint pain subsided. I didn’t wake up in the middle of the night to slather cream all over. A whole new chapter began as I finally found a natural remedy to help me cope with the agonizing Lyme symptoms I had lived with for so long.

As I tried a variety of CBD products, I quickly learned that not all CBD is created equal. Some companies were selling falsely advertised CBD products with little to no CBD.
