170 New Rental Townhomes Coming To Wildomar

A groundbreaking ceremony was held this week for the project on Prielipp Road.

WILDOMAR, CA — City of Wildomar officials gathered Thursday to celebrate the groundbreaking of a new housing project at 24808 Prielipp Road.

Construction for Bacara, a 170-unit Spanish-style townhome rental community, will continue through 2022, with a grand opening planned for late in the year, according to Tricon Residential, which will manage the new complex.

The two-story Bacara development will offer one-, two-, and three-bedroom options, alongside indoor and outdoor amenities, a dog park, lap pool and spa, gym, and a community center. Other features include solar power, attached one- or two-car garages, keyless front door entry, and forecourt patios, Tricon officials said.

“Housing is one of our top priorities in Wildomar, and this is a key project that begins to meet our housing needs,” said Wildomar City Councilmember Marsha Swanson. “These gorgeous townhomes will form a new, family-friendly community nestled into Wildomar’s rolling terrain conveniently situated near parks, shops, schools, 215 and 15 Freeways that easily connect to San Diego, Orange County, and the Inland Empire.”

Tricon Managing Director Andrew Carmody said the Bacara community will contribute to the local housing supply and add to "the diversity of high-quality housing options in Wildomar."

“The Bacara community is coming at a time when the need for high-quality rental homes has never been more evident,” Carmody said.
