4th Of July In Lake Elsinore: Kids' Bike Parade, Fireworks

Come one, come all for a day filled with fun at the annual Party in the Park event in Lake Elsinore and later, a stunning fireworks show.

LAKE ELSINORE, CA — In 2023, the 4th of July starts with a party in the park in Lake Elsinore and ends with a fireworks spectacular.

On July 4, from 9 to 11 a.m. at Summerly Park, 18505 Malaga Road, Lake Elsinore, CA 92530 head to the city's annual Party in the Park event.

In 2023, the celebration promises to be bigger and better than ever, said city spokesperson Melissa Veliz. "Immerse yourself in a festive atmosphere that will make your Independence Day truly memorable, she said. "The Party in the Park is a free event open to the public, so gather your friends, family, and neighbors and come enjoy a day of community spirit.

The highlight of the event is the highly anticipated kids' bike parade, where young participants can showcase their creative flair by decorating their bikes in red, white, and blue. The children ride through the park in a parade that is sure to invoke patriotic pride in all who see it.

Also, an array of amusements from carnival-style games, inflatable attractions, and interactive play zones will be available for residents at the park.

Later in the day, the City's Annual Fireworks Spectacular, a dazzling display of lights and colors that will ignite the night sky over the lake.

"This year's show promises to be bigger and better than ever before, creating an unforgettable experience for all attendees," Veliz said. "We have partnered with KOLA 99.9 to bring you a synchronized music experience that will enhance the magic of the fireworks."

The station will play a specially curated playlist to accompany the fireworks, perfectly timed to the music, according to the city.

The best viewing locations are all free! Choose from:

  • Lakepoint Park
  • Swick and Matich Park
  • Elm Grove Beach
  • Whiskers Beach.

All are designated as prime spots to witness the stunning fireworks display, according to Veliz.

"Each location offers a unique perspective, ensuring that you can find the perfect spot to gather with friends and family and enjoy the show," she said.

Please note that outside food and drinks are allowed at the viewing locations, so feel free to pack a picnic or grab some snacks from local vendors to enhance your evening.

Blankets, lawn chairs, and portable radios are also welcome.
