LAKE ELSINORE, CA — Plans to construct a 51,101-square-foot commercial center in Lake Elsinore are moving forward.

The city's Planning Commission will discuss the Riverside/Lincoln Commercial Project during its Tuesday night meeting. Commissioners are scheduled to address environmental concerns, conditional use permits, and commercial design reviews for the project eyed for 6.36 acres of vacant land at the southwest corner of Lincoln Street and Riverside Drive.

Plans call for six buildings that will house a self-storage facility, a 7-Eleven store/gas station with 16 fueling stations, a self-serve carwash, and a 24/7 McDonald's drive-thru restaurant. The center will have 221 parking spaces. The self-storage facility will encompass the greatest square footage — more than 38,000.
