LAKE ELSINORE, CA - Firefighters were battling a brush fire that burned at least one acre in Lake Elsinore Saturday.

The fire was reported around 10:35 a.m. Saturday in the 274 block of Jarvis Street, the Riverside County Fire Department said.

According to the department, the forward rate of progress was stopped and crews were mopping up.
