CANYON LAKE, CA — A crystal clear sky and a full lake are the payoff after days of rain. This view of Canyon Lake at its fullest was taken by drone photo thanks to Southwest Riverside County photographer Anthony Arendt.

"Our lake is full!" he captioned the photo that he shared with Patch.

It's no surprise the lake is full, as the area has received approximately 3 1/2 inches of rain over the past six days, according to the National Weather Service's latest rainfall totals.

The difference in the spillway, when compared to a photo he shared in December, is breathtaking.
