Fraser was found unresponsive around 8 a.m. Monday at his home in the 38000 block of Via De Oro, the Riverside County Coroner said.

Fraser was found in his car by his gardener, and a friend of the musician said his death appeared to be from natural causes, the New York Daily News reported.

Ultimate Classic Rock reports the musician was battling both cancer and AIDS.

The London-born Fraser was 15 when he formed Free with singer Paul Rodgers, drummer Simon Kirke and guitarist Paul Kossoff, and 18 when he co- wrote “All Right Now”, a staple of classic rock radio, advertisements, and the Stanford University Marching Band.

He later became a prolific songwriter and producer but performed only sporadically over the past 20 years, which, the Riverside Press-Enterprise reported, coincided with his move to Temecula.

Fraser wrote on his website that he had been diagnosed with HIV at an unspecified time. He is survived by two daughters, Hannah and Jasmine.
