Firefighters Battle Brush Fire Near Jurupa Valley

JURUPA VALLEY, CA — Firefighters from the Riverside County Fire Department were battling a brush fire Saturday that burned at least four acres in an unincorporated area near Jurupa Valley.

The fire was reported around 2:40 p.m. Saturday in the 1800 block of Market Street, according to the fire department.

The forward rate of spread was stopped and crews predicted remaining on scene for about two hours for mop up.
