Lake Elsinore defeated at home in California League Final.

Yoel Yanqui's go ahead single RBI paces Visalia Rawhide to a 2-1 win over Lake Elsinore Storm to even the series at 1-1

By David A. Willauer-Contributing Writer-9-11-19-Pete Lehr Field at Storm Stadium-Lake Elsinore, CA: The Lake Elsinore Storm for the first time since 2014 have reached the California League Champion Round where in game 1 of a 3 game series of the finals the Storm defeated the Rawhide by a 5-2 score
In game 2 it was a different story as after the Rawhide took a 1-0 lead in the top 3rd, Luis Basabe hit a sacrifice fly to Storm Centerfield Jeisson Rosario scored Geraldo Perdromo.
The Storm tied the game as Xavier Edwards scored on a Jeisson Rosario double in the home 3rd.
Visalia went ahead in the visiting fifth as Eduardo Diaz after 2 outs tripled to right center field and scored on Yoel Yanqui's single made the final score 2-1 in favor of the Rawhide.
Cole Bartlett is the winner for the Rawhide as he pitched 3 innings gave up 5 hits, 1 run (1) earned, 2 walks, 0 strikeouts as he goes to 1-0.
Reiss Knehr is the loser for the Storm as he pitched 4.2 innings gave up 6 hits, 2 runs (2) earned, 3 walks, 5 strikeouts.
The next 3 games will be at Visalia on Friday, September 13, 14, and 15 2019.
