LAKE ELSINORE, CA—Summer has arrived in Lake Elsinore, and the community is invited to summer movies under the stars starting in mid-June.

The city will host Movies in the Park, showing "Luca," after sunset on June 19. The event was slated from 7:30 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. at Summerly Park, located 18505 Malaga Road in Lake Elsinore.

Before the movie, the city planned a variety of family-friendly activities. Admission is free, and blankets, chairs, and your "favorite cozy movie-watching gear" are encouraged.

"Don't miss this fantastic opportunity to enjoy a memorable evening with your community. We look forward to seeing you there," City spokesperson Melissa Veliz said. She also encouraged teens to volunteer during summer events.

Volunteers are an important part of our many events, so if you would like to volunteer, contact the coordinator at 951-674-3124 ext. 290, according to Veliz. Volunteers must be 15 or older to start earning community service hours required for graduation.

The next Movie in the Park is slated for July 17 at Summer Lake Park in Lake Elsinore, located at 900 Broadway Street, Lake Elsinore, where you can view "Wonka." Once again, picnic blankets and cozy movie-watching attire are suggested.
