By David A. Willauer-Contributing Writer 4-12-18-The Diamond-Lake Elsinore, CA-After a 7 game road trip the Lake Elsinore Storm opened the home season on a 25th Anniversary Celebration before a crowd of 6229 looked on, the Storm found a way to win and yes they did, after trailing 1-0 on Colton Welker's home run in the Lancaster 1st inning, Lake Elsinore scored 3 runs in the 2nd and the 3rd as they defeated the opposition by a 6-3 score.

"It was good hitting tonight as the players contributed well with the bats, after trailing 1-0 I like the way how the players connected at the plate and when we scored 3 runs in the second and 3 runs in the 3rd and their relief pitcher (Holder for Lancaster) came in pitched well for the Jethawks." said Storm Manager Edwin Rodriguez
