LAKE ELSINORE-WILDOMAR, CA— Moms do so much for everyone around them. We try to celebrate them all year long, but Mother's Day is a perfect opportunity to shout it from the rooftops and post it on Patch: Mom rocks!

What makes your Mom extra special?
My dear friend Amanda inspires me with her compassion and love she shares with everyone. Sadly she lost her husband in December to the disease ALS but continues to keep smiling while raising her two boys, David and Rudy. I admire Amanda for her courage and strength to keep going in spite of her tremendous loss — she is an inspiration to all. Thank yo, Amanda, for being an example of Love. Happy Mother's Day!
