Lake Elsinore-Wildomar Mom Is 'Passionate & Courageous'

LAKE ELSINORE-WILDOMAR, CA— Moms do so much for everyone around them. We try to celebrate them all year long, but Mother's Day is a perfect opportunity to shout it from the rooftops and post it on Patch: Mom rocks!

Here at Patch we've launched an initiative to help recognize the awesome moms and mom figures in communities like yours.

This submission comes from Laurie who nominated Samantha Wagner of Lake Elsinore-Wildomar.

What makes this mom extra special?

The mom I’m nominating is my daughter. Aside from being a full time RN in the healthcare industry, she is the strongest, most passionate and courageous mom of two beautiful young children — both of which are medical needs due to infant liver failure/ liver transplant recipients before their first birthday. She is their medical advocating, appointment scheduling, weekly and sometimes more often than weekly driver to have labs & multitudes of diagnostic testing done, medication organizing/refilling, routine medical and dental appointment scheduling and taking mom.

Why do you feel this mom deserves the spotlight?

Because she is the strongest woman I know who has faced the darkest fears of any parent twice and has remained the calm and constant mother in her children’s lives.
