Lake Elsinore's Juice It Up! Adds Sandía Loca To Summer Menu

LAKE ELSINORE, CA – The limited-edition Sandía Loca Smoothie and Bowl. are returning to Lake Elsinore's Juice It Up!

What is a Sandía Loca Smoothie? It translates to "crazy watermelon" in Spanish, a spokesperson from Juice It Up! tells us. The drink and bowl are packed with Vitamin C and other immunity-boosting ingredients.

"Bursting with refreshing summer flavors, this lineup is guaranteed to keep guests cool and hydrated all summer long," they said. It is inspired by a traditional Mexican treat made with fresh fruit and commonly served in a hollowed-out watermelon and topped with Tajín spices.

Inside is a blend of strawberries, watermelon, and lime purée mixed with lime sherbet and more flavorful chili and lime spices.

The bowl features the same Sandía Loca base flavors but takes it to the next level with toppings. When you order, expect fresh bananas, strawberries, pineapple, cucumber, coconut flakes, and Tajín spices. This bowl is a nutrient-dense option loaded with fiber, iron, potassium, Vitamin B, and magnesium, according to the chain.

Susan Taylor, Juice It Up! President and CEO discussed the return of the fan favorites.

"We're excited to bring back two HUGE fan favorites introduced last summer at Juice It Up! locations. Both the Sandía Loca Smoothie and Bowl were wildly received by our guests when they debuted last year," Taylor said. "There's no doubt that watermelon is one of the most popular summer fruits, and we are excited once again to incorporate refreshing and hydrating watermelon with other tasty ingredients to deliver a seasonal lineup bursting with flavor."

Both menu additions will be available all summer long.
