Motorcyclist Killed In Lake Elsinore Crash

LAKE ELSINORE, CA — A 71-year-old man was killed when his motorcycle and a vehicle collided in Lake Elsinore, authorities said Monday.

The collision occurred about 9:20 a.m. Sunday at Lakeshore Drive and Avenue Six, according to Riverside County sheriff's Sgt. Brad Foster.

Arriving deputies observed that the motorcyclist was ejected from his bike and they began life-saving measures, but he was pronounced dead at the scene, Foster said.

He was later identified by the Riverside County coroner's office as Lake Elsinore resident Nicholas Keim.

The other driver remained at the scene and cooperated with the investigation, Foster said. Drugs and alcohol were not believed to have factored into the crash.
