Santiago High School Enters D1 CIF-SS Girls Soccer Playoffs As #1 Seed

CORONA, CA — The CIF Southern Section Division 1 Girls Soccer brackets are out, leaving high schools across the southland scrambling to see where they fall in the coming playoffs.

Santiago High School girls soccer is slated to play at home vs. Huntington Beach on Saturday, Feb. 12. Game times have yet to be announced.

Huntington Beach, of the Surf League, was an At-Large addition to the playoffs, with a record of 14-6-3. Santiago High School won the Big VIII Division with a record of 18-1-3.

The final CIF-SS Division 1 poll, released Tuesday, placed Santiago in the tops spot, Temecula Valley at #2 for the region with Harvard Westlake, last year's top winner, at #3.

The CIF-SS Poll ranked teams as the following:
