CORONA, CA — The 91 freeway from Anaheim Hills to Corona was backed up Friday morning after a massive four-car crash, California Highway Patrol officers reported.

Just after 9 a.m., CHP officers said a silver Dodge truck towing a large trailer lost control and struck four other vehicles. Both the truck and crash debris blocked the #1, 2, and 3 lanes for well over an hour as officials attempted to clear the roadway. The #2 and 3 Fastrack lanes were also blocked during the cleanup. No injuries were reported from the crash.

Multiple tow trucks were called to the scene at 10 am. to help clear the crash, however, those drivers were also stuck in traffic a half-hour later, according to CHP reports.

Residual slowing affected traffic eastbound from the 241 toll road onto the 91 Eastbound Freeway and the 91 Eastbound Freeway as far away as the Weigh Station and the Imperial Highway exit in Anaheim for hours Friday. During the incident, westbound drivers slowed before Maple Street and West Sixth Street in Corona.
