What The Duck? Lake Elsinore Hosts 6-Story Rubber Duck Over July 4th

LAKE ELSINORE, CA—The city of Lake Elsinore will bring the world's largest rubber duck to its shores from July 4th to 6th, 2024, in addition to its annual Independence Day celebrations.

Mama Duck, as she is known, stands six stories tall and will be available for free visits between noon and 8 p.m. daily for the Duck Festival. The event is free to attend, according to a city spokesperson. Special events are planned at the diamond throughout the day.

"Join us at Lake Elsinore Diamond Stadium as we welcome the majestic mama duck, towering over 6 stories tall, and don’t miss out on the Fourth of July festivities from July 4-6," they said. "Come and experience the world’s largest rubber duck and celebrate in style!"

That week, multiple events are planned as the Lake Elsinore Storm are away, battling the Inland Empire 66rs in San Bernardino. If you want to see fireworks after the Storm Game, the Lake Elsinore Storm will have a fireworks spectacular following the game on July 3, according to the team website.

• July 4th: Independence Day Party: from 4 to 9:30 p.m.: Flash Pants 80s concert, Vendors, food and more, and a live fireworks show from Lake Elsinore Diamond Stadium.
• July 5th: Jeep Duck Day Car Show: come to the Lake Elsinore Diamond Stadium for a Jeep Car Show at 8 a.m. to noon, and stay from 4 to 9:30 p.m. for Rocio La Dama De La Cumbia, vendors, food and more.
• July 6th: Lake Elsinore Duck Festival: from 4 to 9:30 p.m., arrive for vendors, food and more and a Queen Tribute Concert.
