Fire Damages South OC Home; Residents Displaced

A fire damaged a home in south Orange County Wednesday, with the Red Cross assisting the four residents in finding alternative housing.

IRVINE, CA — A fire damaged a two-story house in Irvine Wednesday evening with the Red Cross assisting the four residents in finding alternative housing.

Firefighters arrived at the residence shortly after 9:30 p.m. where they found flames coming the garage and threatening the home, according to the Orange County Fire Authority. The fire crews attacked the fire and prevented it from extending into the living area.

During a search of the home, firefighters confirmed everyone made it out without injury, the fire authority said.
