Car Shooting In Livermore: 4 Teen Suspects Arrested

Livermore police say the teens shot at a car with three people inside, likely due to a gang-related conflict.

LIVERMORE, CA — Four teenagers were arrested on suspicion of shooting at a family in Livermore, according to the Livermore Police Department. Three of the suspects were from Livermore, while one was from Tracy.

On Monday, July 15 at around 11 p.m., the shooting victim called the police to report that he was being followed by a black truck. At the intersection of Park and North I streets, the occupants of the black truck fired several shots at the victim’s car before driving off, police said. The victim, who was driving with his mother and sister. No one was uninjured.

Livermore police located the black truck at a home in Tracy and identified the suspects. The following day, police arrested a 16-year-old from Livermore and 18-year-old Angel Nietokalandrely of Tracy. On July 18, police arrested 18-year-old Damien Henriquez of Livermore, and a 17-year-old from Livermore. All were arrested on suspicion of attempted murder. The case was turned over to the Alameda County District Attorney’s Office.

Police recovered a 9-mm handgun. They believe the victim and suspects know one another, and the shooting was gang-related.
