Livermore Little League Team Is Best In Western USA

The team dominated the Intermediate World Series and made it to the U.S. Championship games.

LIVERMORE, CA - The Livermore Little League Intermediate All-Stars are officially the best team in the West, and the second best in America.

A remarkable season culminated in the team making it to the U.S. Championship Game, where they faced off against the team from Kenner, Louisiana. They came within striking distance of winning the entire World Series, though ultimately Kenner won against Seoul, South Korea.

The team boasted a 13-0-1 record in the spring, and were crowned the District 57 champions. They represented the district well at the Little League Intermediate 50/70 World Series right in Livermore, walking away with a 3-1 record.

“This incredible group of young men and coaches represented us well at the Little League Intermediate World Series, we couldn’t be any prouder!” the team said in a statement.

“Congratulations boys for everything you’ve accomplished. It was a pleasure watching you give it your all! Thank you @littleleague@lliws.livermore for having us, these are lifelong memories that our players and families will never forget. Thank you to all of the fans and local businesses that supported the boys along the way, we will be forever grateful!”

The Tri-Valley has proved to be an impressive hotbed of baseball talent. In 2023, Bollinger Canyon Little League also made it to the Western Regional Championships, while in 2022, Danville won the Intermediate World Series.
