LIVERMORE, CA — One of Livermore’s most iconic events is finally here. This weekend, the city will honor its Wild West heritage with the 105th annual Livermore Rodeo. Guests can expect a parade, barbecues, and of course, plenty of rodeo events.

Rodeo weekend kicks off with the Livermore Rodeo Parade at 10 a.m. The parade, hosted by the Livermore Rotary Club, will feature a marching band and numerous floats from local businesses, nonprofits, schools and residents. Organizers estimate that roughly 14,000 people will attend the parade.

Livermore police, some of whom have spent the week in an “alternate uniform” of a white straw cowboy hat, blue jeans and brown boots to celebrate Rodeo Week, announced a series of closures that will take place Saturday morning in downtown Livermore.
