Livermore Toy Drive Collects Over 1,150 Toys

The toy drive took place at Holidays in the Vineyards and was organized by the Livermore Valley Wine Community and Pacific State Petroleum.

LIVERMORE, CA — Livermore Valley Wine Community and Pacific States Petroleum partnered on a Toys for Tots drive during the Holidays in the Vineyards celebration that collected over 575 toys, LVWC announced in a news release. Pacific State Petroleum, an on-site fueling company, matched each toy donation, bringing the total to over 1,150 toys.

The toys will go to a local collection done by the U.S. Marines and will be passed out to the children in the community.

“We have hosted Holidays in the Vineyards for over 35 years. This event brings the community together and is truly a tradition that is dear to locals and travelers from all over the Bay Area,” Brandi Lombardi, Interim Executive Director for the Livermore Valley Wine Community, said in a statement.

“Throughout the past many years, our purpose with Toys for Tots is to make a direct impact within our community by providing a toy to local children that would otherwise not have a present. We’re happy that more children will have a smile on their face this holiday season,” said PSP General Propane Manager Jason Edwards.
