Multiple Livermore Storefronts Smashed, Suspect Arrested

Ignacio Rios was arrested on suspicion of smashing multiple glass storefronts downtown, including the Livermore Chamber of Commerce.

LIVERMORE, CA — Livermore police arrested a man suspected of breaking numerous glass storefronts downtown.

On Saturday at 11:30 p.m., officers responded to a glass break alarm at the Walgreens on First Street. During the investigation, officers learned of four other broken glass storefront downtown, including Caratti Jewelers, Rosetta Roasting, Livermore Chamber of Commerce, and Mosaic Lodge.

Officers found and arrested 41-year-old Ignacio Rios on charges of vandalism. He was booked into Santa Rita Jail on $60,000 bail.
