Woman Fires Shot At Vehicle In Long Beach: Police

LONG BEACH, CA — Authorities are investigating the circumstances surrounding a woman who allegedly fired shots at a vehicle Saturday morning in Long Beach.

Officers dispatched at about 1:55 a.m. Saturday to the intersection of Market Street and Locust Avenue, regarding a "shots" call, located evidence indicating that a shooting occurred, the Long Beach Police Department reported.

"The preliminary investigation indicates a female adult suspect fired shots towards a vehicle," according to a police statement. "The suspect fled the scene before officers' arrival. The investigation is ongoing."
