Life Group LA - Free Friday Seminar - Taking Supplements Safely

The Life Group LA is gearing up with all new free online seminars every month. This month's Elevate Meet Us @ Noon Online Seminar happing live on zoom this Friday, August 16 at 12pm will cover the topic: Taking Supplements Safely. The shows are expert guest presenters Allison Strawn, RDN, & G. Negrete This event is produced by Life Group LA in collaboration with APLA Health. The seminar covers how to develop a better understanding of how learn about the role of micronutrients in the body and how this relates to the role of supplements for your overall health!

Life Group LA provides free of charge, much needed information and emotional support through medical forums, emotional support groups and the POZ Life Weekend Seminar. All services are offered in a non-judgmental and safe environment with compassion and understanding.

About the Presenters:

Allison Strawn, RDN (she/her) is the dietitian at Nutrition for the Necessities of Life Program (NOLP) at APLA. She has spent her time as a dietitian working in community nutrition on both the coasts. Allison is passionate about educating clients so they can feel empowered to advocate for their nutrition needs. At APLA, she oversees the nutrition team including the nutrition education!
G Negrete is a Food Pantry Coordinator at Nutrition for the Necessities of Life Program (NOLP) at APLA health. She received her undergraduate degree in Nutrition from Cal Poly Pomona in 2023. G is experienced in community nutrition education and food purchasing. As part of the nutrition team at NOLP, she assists the Registered Dietitian in supporting client health and wellness.
