The shooting was the second 105 Freeway shooting in less than a month.

In June, police responded to a shooting on the freeway in Downy near Paramount Boulevard. It began with a family dispute in Downey, according to the CHP.

The car-to-car shooting left bullet casings strewn across the freeway. Responding officers learned one vehicle was in pursuit of another when the shooting began.

According to reports from the scene, the shooting stemmed from an earlier argument between relatives that began at a residence in Downey.

No one was injured in the shooting.
