How do you know the local hero?

Rotary Club

What does the local hero do?

She volunteers, for years, tirelessly. Mental Health issues; sex trafficking issues; Rotary activities; and she is a major force in Leadership Manhattan Beach. She gives of herself, time and again, without a second thought, and has for many many years. At the same time she maintains a positive attitude and thereby encourages others by her consistency and dedication.

Why do you believe the local hero should be recognized or honored?

Unsung heroes are among us, and this is one. Having observed her devotion to help others, particularly those who need a hand, my view is a nice pat on the back and acknowledgement after all these years is very much deserved. She served as President of the Manhattan Beach Rotary Club, along with all her other endeavors, to help young people, distressed people, and victims of misjustices.

What's one thing you want everyone to know about the local hero?

She is exemplary. Give, expect nothing in return. Do not get discouraged and keep at it, you can and will make a difference.

Thank you for all you do, Kathleen Terry!
