MARINA DEL REY, CA — An ocean water use advisory was issued for waters near Mother's Beach in Marina del Rey, health officials announced Friday night.

The Los Angeles County Department of Public Health extended its warning for multiple beaches.

People who are planning to visit the below Los Angeles County beaches should be careful of swimming, surfing, and playing in ocean waters:

"The warning has been issued due to bacterial levels exceeding health standards when last tested," according to public health officials.
