3 Arrested In Marin Burglary Spree

MILL VALLEY, CA — Three suspects were arrested early Thursday morning in connection with a string of Marin burglaries, Mill Valley police said.

The suspects were arrested on suspicion of unspecified burglary-related charges, including “possession of burglary tools consistent with the M.O. of recent burglaries,” police said.

The officer early Thursday morning initiated a traffic stop after spotting a vehicle that matched the description of the vehicle sought in connection with a series of residential burglaries in Belvedere in which two bicycles and a vehicle were stolen, police said.

Belvedere Police Department detectives identified the suspect vehicle as a white BMW with a bike rack affixed to the trunk and obtained the vehicle’s license plate number.

All three suspects were arrested during the traffic stop, police said.

“One of our officers observed a white BMW with an empty bike rack drive into our city,” Mill Valley police said.

“Once our officer got behind the vehicle, it was determined to have the same license plate as the BMW in BPD's case.

Tiburon police and the Marin County Sheriff’s Office assisted in the arrests.
